With wasp season commencing there’s a buzz around a new app from the Transport Canberra and City Services’ wasp specialists which is being used to warn Canberrans about potential hotspots as the region warms up.

They might be causing less hassle this summer compared to previous years but the ACT’s European wasps are still causing a buzz across the Pacific Ocean.

As the weather warms up, European wasp queens are starting to come out of hibernation as the aggressive stinging insects start to establish new nests for the summer months.
